I met Dan as sophomore in study hall. If people remember me I talked a lot and drove Dan nuts. He was a great guy who was always worried about his grades. Here is a big strong jock (offensive tackle and shot-put) and had only 1 B his three years at Stranahan. He did not fit the stereotype. We had lots of fun in school and had such a creative and humorous mind. The last I new of him he was headed to University of Pennsylvania.

Dan and I stayed in contact long after we left Stranahan. Dan eventually graduated from Penn and then Michigan State. He and his wife moved from Michigan to California and started a family. They then moved to Connecticut and back to California as Dan pursued his career in radio. Somewhat ironically, my youngest daughter and Dan's oldest son dated for a time several years ago.
